Benefits of Membership

The Canadian Society of Medievalists is the official society of medievalists working in Canadian universities and Canadian medievalists around the world. It includes researchers, teachers and scholars who study Europe and the World from ca. 400-1500 CE. We connect scholars from a variety of academic disciplines (literature, history, philosophy, classics, languages, cultural studies, book history, art history, archaeology, musicology, and more), interests, and academic approaches.

Retired, Unwaged, Other - $42.00 (CAD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: June 15th No automatically recurring payments Unemployed/Retired/Other Membership is offered to anyone who is not a student or faculty. $40.00 + $2.00 Administration fee.

Student Membership - $37.00 (CAD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: June 15th No automatically recurring payments Student Membership is offered to undergraduate and graduate students. $35.00 + $2.00 Administration fee.

Sustaining Membership - $125.00 (CAD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: June 15th No automatically recurring payments This category is for members who can afford a larger payment to CSM (who perhaps still have Professional Expense reimbursements that cover professional memberships and who wish to facilitate the activities of CSM).

Recurring Regular Membership - $57.00 (CAD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: June 15th Automatic renewal (recurring payments) Recurring Regular Membership to the CSM is offered to Full or Part-time faculty. $55.00 + $2.00 Administration fee. Your membership will renew automatically on June 15 of each year.
