Preaching and Gender: 15–19 July 2022
23rd Symposium of the International Medieval Sermon Studies Society
University of St. Thomas, St. Paul Minnesota, USA and via Zoom
We have a wonderful Symposium coming up in July! I'm very excited about our program, "Preaching and Gender" including keynote presentations by Bernard McGinn and Carolyn Muessig (University of Calgary). We have a very interesting lineup of papers planned, as well as a workshop on the implications of contemporary gender theory for our work, a trip to the Hill Museum and Manuscript Library, and a dinner cruise on lovely Lake Minnetonka. You'll find the draft program on the website: http://imsss.net/
Registration is open! Just click here.
(Register using a computer rather than a smartphone.)
Do you have a project underway that you'd like to discuss with colleagues? Present a poster! This option to be on the program is still open. Please send your abstract to Steven McMichael (sjmcmichael@stthomas.edu).
We are very grateful to our sponsors for their financial support: IMSSS, University of St. Thomas, University of Antwerp, University of Freiburg.
I hope to see many of you in St. Paul,
Anne
